This 73,000 SF project is a restoration and renovation of the historic Masonic Temple in Glendale, CA. This building has been abandoned for decades and has been a local architectural gem for the city of Glendale since it was built in 1928. This project maintains the integrity of its historic significance while adapting it to the needs of the 21st Century. It is one of many key projects built along Brand Blvd. that have improved and reinvigorated the urban fabric. In this extensive renovation, modern architectural elements and materials integrate within a former art-deco Masonic Temple to create a signature office space that celebrates the building’s historic character. Lead tenant CBRE’s new workspace showcases the building’s refurbished original 1920s wood trusses and double-height space, enhanced with the addition of “glass box” meeting rooms that maximize floor area and provide views into the dramatic space.
